I think this is the weakest book of The Stormlight Archive thus far. Which is unfortunate because it takes over 180 hours of audiobook time to get here. The plot felt scattered and meandering. The bad guys aren’t really bad, despite all evidence to the contrary, they are just misunderstood. I feel like the more we dive into this world the more we are loosing the plot. Where Words of Radiance is a mountaintop, Rhythm of War is a canyon. There were some good moments, and good character growth, but in a 60 hour book, I need more than just a sprinkling of that good writing.
