Wild Robot has so many fun details, and is so beautifully animated. This is a great movie for families, and I thought the messaging was sincere and balanced. There are genuinely suspenseful moments that may be scary for younger viewers, but I think this is a solid family film. The art style is beautiful and I loved the "painted" look of the backgrounds and wildflowers. I loved almost all of the voice acting, but found Pedro Pascal's role a little stilted. It felt like they were going for a Zootopia fox character vibe early-on in the movie, but Fin was a more lovable character by the end.
