Testing Blog Posts with Images

I love taking photos, and I love sharing them with people! Photos give us a great opportunity to tell a story, and to share life from a unique point of view. However, this blog post is mostly just a demo for myself, but will let me discover how Gatsby handles and renders photos, and will let me experiment with any changes that need to be made to make them look better in the blog.

Ok, here is the first photo, a portrait shot of a Gold Dust Day Gecko that we saw on vacation. This was shot with an iPhone 15 Pro Max:

Side note, I edit all of these using Obsidian, since it has lovely templating tools, and a robust Markdown Editor and Preview. Curiously, when I add the photo to the markdown file, it previews it twice in a row, until I put content below the inserted photo.

Ok, here is test number two, a landscape photo, also shot with iPhone 15 Pro Max, and captured by my lovely wife while I was driving:
